Business Development Manager
We are looking for a proactive Business Development Manager to promote our Physics-of-Failure (PoF), reliability engineering, and multiphysics simulation services. You will identify new clients, build relationships, expand our market presence, and help companies understand how PoF-based simulations can reduce failures, cost, and risk. -> Remote work possible
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategy to acquire new customers for PoF and reliability simulations
- Identify high-potential industries (automotive, aerospace, electronics, industrial machinery, EV mobility)
- Contact leads via email, LinkedIn, conferences, and direct outreach
- Prepare and present our services in a clear and compelling way
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand capabilities and prepare proposals
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to signed contract
- Maintain CRM records, track outreach, and report progress regularly
- Build long-term relationships with R&D, reliability, and simulation departments
- Support marketing activities (case studies, presentations, webinars)
- Represent the company in industry events (virtual or in-person)
Requirements
- Experience in business development, sales, or technical sales, ideally in engineering services
- Basic understanding of engineering concepts (mechanical, electrical, simulation, materials)
- Ability to explain technical services in simple and persuasive terms
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Comfortable with outreach, lead generation, and online communication
- Ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline
- Experience with CRM tools is a plus
- English fluency required; German is a plus

Reliability & Physics-of-Failure Engineer
As a Reliability & PoF Engineer, you will support the analysis and prediction of product lifetimes using physics-based models. You will work closely with simulation engineers and customers to assess failure risks and provide actionable engineering insights. -> Remote work possible
Responsibilities
- Perform Physics-of-Failure (PoF) analyses for electronic and mechanical components
- Model failure mechanisms such as thermal fatigue, vibration, creep, wear, electromigration, and delamination
- Create reliability prediction reports and customer-specific assessments
- Support the development and improvement of PoF simulation workflows
- Validate simulations with test results and material data
- Engage with customers to clarify technical questions and requirements
Requirements
- Degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- Strong understanding of reliability engineering and failure mechanisms
- Experience with PoF models, lifetime prediction methods, or stress analysis
- Several years of experiences with COMSOL
- Analytical mindset and structured documentation skills
- English fluency required; German is a plus

3D-CAD Engineer
We are looking for an experienced CAD Engineer who can create precise 3D mechanical and electrical models in Autodesk Inventor for use in COMSOL Multiphysics simulations. Your work will enable accurate meshing, multiphysics coupling, and Physics-of-Failure simulation workflows. -> Remote work possible
Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D CAD models (mechanical + electrical assemblies) in Autodesk Inventor
- Prepare and optimize geometries for COMSOL import (simplification, defeaturing, segmentation)
- Build multi-domain models including housings, connectors, PCBs, terminals, cables, power electronics, and cooling structures
- Ensure proper separation of bodies for thermal, structural, electrical, and multiphysics simulations
- Work closely with simulation engineers to adjust models based on meshing or solver requirements
- Maintain a clean modeling workflow with versioning, naming standards, and export conventions
- Support parametric modeling for design variations and sensitivity studies
- Document modeling steps and design decisions clearly
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- Strong proficiency with Autodesk Inventor (parts, assemblies, constraints, drawings)
- Experience preparing CAD models for COMSOL Multiphysics (Geometry → Mesh compatibility)
- Good understanding of thermal, structural, and electrical interfaces
- Ability to reduce CAD complexity while maintaining simulation-relevant fidelity
- Experience with electronics packaging, connectors, housings, or mixed electro-mechanical assemblies is a strong plus
- Familiarity with meshing constraints (sharp edges, small features, STL/SAT formats)
- English fluency required; German is a plus
